Conservation tillage has attracted increasing attention over recent decades because it can improve soil fertility at low cost. However, the effects of long-term straw mulching under a no-till system on soil attributes and bacterial communities remain unclear. One twelve-year-old experiment was conducted, which included straw removal and straw mulching treatments. Soil samples were collected at four soil depths.
