The following projects contributed for the financial support of the investigation: (1) “Caracterización y predicción de la generación aerodinámica de ruido enperfiles de turbinas eólicas”, DPI2011-25419, provided by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness; (2) “Desarrollo y construcción de turbinas eólicas de eje vertical para entornos urbanos”, ENE2017-89965-P, from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Business. How to cite data:Data from [article reference] Methodology for data collection:The data collection methodology was based on the use of Odeon Room Acoustics software, adapted to simulate noise propagation from wind turbines in an offshore environment. The sound power levels of the G90 (Gamesa) turbines, obtained from manufacturer data certified under the IEC 61400-1 standard, were introduced into the model, and simulations were performed for two potential locations of the wind farm (Cape Busto and Llumeres) along the Asturian coast. Receivers were placed 50 meters inland from the coastline and 4 meters above ground level, following European directives, to estimate perceived noise levels. The model employed the acoustic ray-tracing method to calculate sound propagation, considering reflections and absorption on different surfaces (water, sand, and concrete). Finally, the numerical results were validated through analytical calculations based on the ISO 9613-2 standard, and sensitivity analyses were conducted to assess the influence of parameters such as the scattering coefficient and surface characteristics. Data entry:12/11/2025 Software (including version #) used to prepare data set:Odeón Room AcousticsMatlab 2023bExcel 365 Data processing that was performed:The data processing involved numerical analyses. For the LES simulations, residuals of all flow variables were monitored to ensure convergence (below 10⁻⁴), and results were time-averaged after reaching a statistically steady state. Post-processing included the calculation of velocity fields, Reynolds stresses, turbulent kinetic energy (TKE), aerodynamic coefficients as well as the use of the Q-criterion to identify coherent vortex structures in the flow.
