This paper discusses the issuance and cancellation of land title certificates within the Indonesian land law system. It focuses on the procedures for issuing land certificates through land registration, the issuance of replacement certificates, the cancellation of certificates due to administrative defects or court decisions, and a critical analysis of legal certainty in the land registration system. The study aims to examine the gap between legal norms and their implementation in practice in order to strengthen legal certainty and protection for land rights holders.
