To date, several E.coli isolates have been whole genome sequenced, including intestinal pathogenic E. coli or extraintestinal pathogenic E. coli. Based on whole sequenced, E. coli can be classified as four major phylogroups (A, B1, D and B2) . Usually, ExPEC belong to B2 or D phylogroups . But until now little work has been done about the Characteristics of ExPEC causing fatal pneumonia in pig farm. Here we isolated the ExPEC from swine lung in China, and describe the genome characteristics of isolate.
