We examine the impact of academic freedom on the innovation potential of countries through the number of green patent filings per capita. We introduce time lags of two (X2_) and five years (X5_), covering the periods 2012-2019 and 2009-2016 respectively.
Content:
1. The "AFI_GP-Full_Data" file is the main file containing the full data set for all variables (with gaps).
2. Folder "AFI_GP-X2" - contains cleaned data (without gaps) with a 2-year time lag.
3. Folder "AFI_GP-X5" - contains cleaned data (without gaps) with a 5-year time lag.
