The IBTK gene encodes the major protein isoform IBtka, that was recently characterized as substrate receptor of Cul3-dependent E3 ligase, regulating ubiquitination coupled to proteasomal degradation of Pdcd4, an inhibitor of translation.In this study, we have investigated the role of IBTK in the regulation of the human wide genome expression. In particular, we have performed High Throughput Deep RNA-Sequencing to analyze the transcriptome of epithelial (HeLa) and erythroleukemic (K562) cell lines, with or without IBTK RNA interference.
