This dataset is a Spanish-Galician parallel legal corpus derived from the DGT-TM Translation Memory of the European Commission. The original corpus contains multilingual aligned texts of EU legislation. Portuguese segments were adapted into Galician using automatic transliteration and translation techniques, followed by linguistic normalization. The dataset contains approximately 320,000 aligned sentence pairs and is primarily used for machine translation, bilingual lexicon induction, and other related tasks.
