The data consists of a spreadsheet containing the data of 297 county houses that have been demolished in Yorkshire and Surrey, England. Specifically, the name, location, decade of demolition and reason for demolition. This data was used to create maps on which each lost house was plotted and graphs outlining the post prominent causes for decline. These figures are included within a dissertation researching the causes for decline of country houses in the twentieth century.
