We previously have found that RIPK3 induces robust anti-viral and inflammatory transcriptional signaling in death-resistant MEFs in a RIPK1-and TRIF-dependent manner. We nexted wanted to assess whether this mechanism was conserved in neurons during Zika virus infection. WT (B6J) primary cortical neurons were treated with siRNA targeting RIPK3, ZBP1, TRIF, RIPK1 and a scramble encoded control. Neurons were then infected with ZIKV for 24hrs. Neuronal RNA lysates were then submitted for bulk RNAsequencing.
