Effect of Alpelisib treatment and PIK3CA knockout on gene expression of the EBV+ gastric cancer cell line YCCEL1

EBV+ gastric cancer cell line was reported with PI3K pathway activated. Alpelisib is the PIK3CA specific inhibitor. To compare the drug treatment against the gene knockout, RNAseq was conducted to study the gene expression changes in YCCEL1. Overall design: Two conditions were included for RNAseq analysis: (1) YCCEL1 treated with 5 uM alpelisib for 6 hours or DMSO, and (2) YCCEL1 cells expressing PIK3CA or control sgRNAs.
