These analysis were realized on mud deposits from the active Absheron mud volcano located in the South Caspian Basin. <br>Mineralogy was obtained using the Min-Eval method developed in Total (read Fialips et al., 2018; https://doi.org/10.15530/urtec-2018-2902304).Oedometer tests were realized following the Standard Test Method for One-Dimensional Consolidation Properties of Soils (https://doi.org/10.1520/D2435-96).The granulometry was acquired using a Mastersizer3000 laser granulometry device. <br>And the Atterberg limits were obtained using the fall-cone method.
