Carbon and nitrogen stable isotope ratios of macrozoobenthos from two locations along the southern coast of the Baltic Sea (2019) (ISOFUN)

The dataset contains measurements of stable isotope ratios of Carbon (δ13C) and Nitrogen (δ15N) from 18 macrozoobenthic taxa collected during two research campaigns along the southern coast of the Baltic Sea in January–February and October 2019. Samples were collected at eight stations using Van Veen grabs. The stable isotope data provide insights into the trophic relationships and resource utilization of benthic organisms in the study area. Stable isotope analysis was conducted on freeze-dried, homogenized samples to determine δ13C and δ15N values, which were reported in per mil (‰) relative to international standards (VPDB for δ13C and AIR for δ15N).
