The Stable Carbon Isotope Dataset of Individual Foraminifer (Orbulina universa) Shells Measured by Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry and Gas-Source Mass Spectrometry

This data release contains data associated with the journal article, ?Comparison of ?13C Analyses on Individual Foraminifer (Orbulina universa) Shells by Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry and Gas-Source Mass Spectrometry?. Data tables are comprised of stable carbon isotope (?13C) measurements of planktic foraminifer (Orbulina universa) shells measured by secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) and conventional gas-source mass spectrometry (GSMS). The data release also includes the R code used for statistical analysis and figure generation, as well as scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of O. universa shells taken before and after SIMS analysis.
