Data of Phylogenomics and the evolution of larval feeding habits in the blow flies (Diptera: Calliphoridae), Beza-Beza et al.

We used protein-coding nuclear genes obtained through anchored hybrid enrichment (AHE) to analyze the evolutionary relationships among blow flies (Diptera: Calliphoridae) and their close relatives. By incorporating four fossils, we generated a time-calibrated phylogenetic tree and utilized literature records of larval feeding habits to reconstruct the ancestral feeding strategies of the group.
