Dataset supporting the analysis of leaf dehydration tolerance in 18 tree species used in forest restoration in the southern Brazilian Amazon
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the supplementary data supporting a study of leaf dehydration tolerance in 18 tree species used in forest restoration in the Mato Grosso Amazon, Brazil. The dataset includes results from progressive leaf dehydration assays, chlorophyll fluorescence measurements, and leaf morphological, anatomical, and stomatal analyses. Table S1 contains the fitted model results describing the relationship between percentage loss of the maximum quantum yield of Photosystem II photochemistry (Fv/Fm) and decreasing relative water content (RWC), including model parameters, R², log-likelihood, AIC, AICc, and the estimated RWC associated with 10% and 50% losses of Fv/Fm (RWCPL[Fv/Fm]10 and RWCPL[Fv/Fm]50). Table S2 contains the fitted model results describing RWC decline during progressive dehydration and the estimated time required to reach the RWC associated with 10% and 50% losses of Fv/Fm (Time_RWCPL[Fv/Fm]10 and Time_RWCPL[Fv/Fm]50). Table S3 summarizes interspecific variation in physiological thresholds, dehydration time, leaf mass per area, leaf thickness, tissue proportions, and stomatal traits, together with the results of the statistical comparisons among species. These data support the evaluation of interspecific variation in leaf dehydration tolerance and its association with leaf structural traits in species used for forest restoration.
