Using CRISPR/Cas9 mediated editing, RNA-seq, small RNA-seq, quantative PCR after sing-gene Knockdown, to reveal that sing-gene modulates piRNA length distribution, types, and expression abundance in Bombyx mori. IP-MS combined with bioinformatic analysis and Western blot identified a series of potential interacting proteins, laying a solid foundation for exploring the specific mechanisms by which gene participates in the piRNA biogenesis process
