Dataset for: Ego Depletion and Deviance

The current study examines the influence of ego-depletion on the chosen sentences in judgment scenarios (embezzlement, shoplifting, graffiti, and car damage). A lack of self-control resources is hypothesized to lead to stricter punishment. Further, it is assumed that high/low tolerance proneness is reinforced by ego-depletion. The results confirmed the main effect of ego depletion in two out of four and the interaction in one of the presented scenarios.
