Based on the original unprocessed annual measured bankfull discharge data from the Huayuankou, Gaocun, Sankou and Lijin hydrological stations provided by the Yellow River Conservancy Commission, all calculations were strictly conducted in accordance with the computational steps detailed in the paper *An Investigation on the Relationship Between the Evolution of the Sub-delta at the Yellow River Estuary and the Downstream River Channel*.
