Tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) has shown potential in the treatment of acute respiratory infections. We used single-cell RNA sequencing to investigate the mechanism and potential therapeutic effect of TMP in the treatment of acute lung injury The mice (n = 12) were randomly divided into four groups: control group (n=3), model group (n=3) administered with intraperitoneal injection of 30mg/ml lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in saline to induce ALI, LPS+dexamethasone (Dex) group (n=3), and LPS+TMP group treated with 5mg/ml dexamethasone (Dex) or 50mg/ml ligustrazine (TMP) one hour before LPS administration. After a 72-hour treatment period, lung tissues were collected and andanalyzed using scRNAseg.
