"The Tourist Survey, Summer 2014" addresses the summer tourism in Norway. The survey was conducted by Statistics Norway on behalf of Innovation Norway. The data are based on interviews with both Norwegian and foreign tourists. Business travellers are also part of the survey. The data collection was carried out in the period May to August 2014. The study provides a basis for mapping the tourists' home countries, economic consumption, number of nights and accommodation in Norway. The tourists total consumption for the survey period is estimated to 27 billion NOK. The German tourists still make up the largest single market for tourism in Norway.
