This dataset comprises formal essay writing prompts sourced from diverse origins, including English proficiency examinations, persuasive corpora, and the "Change My View" Reddit forum. Thirty percent of the total dataset is randomly sampled to form the test set, while the "Change My View" subset already has predefined test splits. The dataset contains 26,013 training samples and 4,096 test samples, with the core task being essay generation.
