资源简介:

This dataset contains raw temperature records (°C) collected at 30-minute intervals (July to Octuber, 2024). The study was conducted at Morro do Diabo State Park (PEMD), Brazil, to evaluate the thermal insulation of natural hollows versus artificial nest boxes for the conservation of the black lion tamarin. Experimental Design: Sampling Units: 12 Sleeping Sites and 4 ambient divided into three blocks. Each block includes: One natural tree hollow (Hollows 1, 2, and 3). Three artificial models: Giant bamboo (AS Bamboo), cedarwood with air insulation (AS Air), and cedarwood with rock wool insulation (AS Rock). One external sensor for ambient temperature. Data Collection: Recorded using Kestrel DROP D1/D2 loggers placed inside cavities and on external trunk surfaces (ambient). Data Processing: The dataset consists of complete 24-hour cycles (from 17:00 to 16:30). Missing isolated points were interpolated (mean of adjacent values), and days with multiple missing points were excluded to ensure simultaneous comparison across all sites.
