Disgust sensitivity is negatively associated with immune system activity in early pregnancy: Implications for obstetrical care

This study is a part of a larger prospective longitudinal project focusing on maternal emotional status in pregnancy and its biological correlates. The sample consisted of 78 pregnant women who were recruited between the 4^th and 12^th weeks of pregnancy. They completed a background questionnaire and questionnaires related to disgust sensitivity (DS-R) and nausea and vomiting (Rhodes index). Dataset also includes cytokine concentrations analyzed from blood samples.
