Inventory of impacts of seven invasive alien species in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. Results of an expert elicitation exercise

Expert elicitation activity Methods & contents: Seventeen experts working on seven case studies received individual Impact Score spreadsheets based on the "CONTAIN-ImpactScoringSheet(MinkExampleSalamanca-English).xlsx", and were instructed to complete them independently following the guidance provided in the file "CONTAIN-ImpactScoringInstructions.pdf". All the impacts listed by the experts can be found in the "Compiled-Impact.csv" file. After two rounds of scoring, the results were further discussed during a facilitated workshop in San Carlos de Bariloche (Argentina; December 2019). We conducted a preliminary evaluation of the usefulness of our methods by sending the "ImpactBrief-CONTAIN(Español).pdf" and "ImpactBrief-CONTAIN(English).pdf" to our collaborators in Latin America. This part was carried out by co-authors LM, PAP, LF, BL, AP, and ER. The final, agreed, impact scores can be found in the file "Unique-Impact.csv".
