They are posed on the porch of a building, with several of the members of the group seated on the steps. Everyone is wearing a hat, all the men are wearing coats and all the women are wearing fancy dresses. They are flanked by two horses, each of which is being held by a member of the group. The wooden building has a door in the center of the picture and two shuttered windows, one on each side.
