GranSea passive acoustic data 2021-2022

This dataset provides Sound Pressure Level (SPL) measurements derived from underwater recordings collected by the marine observatory GranSea at Capo Granitola, Sicily, Italy. SPLs span third-octave bands from 16 Hz to 12.5 kHz, and a period that goes from 26 March 2021 to 24 January 2022. Each h5 file represents a 5-minute wav file collected each hour for the entire duration of the dataset. Acoustic data were continuously collected using a digital hydrophone (HF icListen, Ocean Sonics, Canada, https://oceansonics.com/), with a sensitivity of -168.8 dBV re 1 µPa.
