Inhibition effect of cinnamon essential oil on biofilm and quorum sensing regulated virulence factors of mushroom spoilage bacterium Pseudomonas tolaasii

Through whole-genome sequencing, the quorum sensing genes in Pseudomonas tolaasii were identified. The functions of quorum sensing genes in Pseudomonas tolaasii were studied, and the association between quorum sensing genes and virulence genes as well as biofilm genes was investigated by means of relevant technical approaches. Furthermore, the influence of cinnamaldehyde essential oil as an antibacterial agent on the quorum sensing, virulence factors and biofilm of Pseudomonas tolaasii was analyzed.
