资源简介:
The dataset contains the result of the experiment showing the room temperature reaction of the titanium and its alloys with hydrogen. The reaction was performed in a planetary ball mill, under hydrogen pressure without any grinding media. The whole experiment is described in the article being submitted (reference will be given after acceptance). The list of files with the description is given in separate excel file. The dataset is composed of both the raw and processed data: X-ray phase analysis - performed with a Rigaku Ultima IV diffractometer equipped with a cobalt anode lamp and parallel beam geometry. XRD patterns obtained for titanium powder milled under hydrogen pressure with different rotational velocities. XRD patterns of the samples after spontaneous hydrogenation - the milling vial was stopped after the reaction was initiated, and the observed pressure drop in the vial was ~10 bar.  XRD patterns showing the phase evolution of titanium alloys after room-temperature hydrogenation. Temperature and pressure during reactive milling - reactive milling was performed using a P6 Fritsch planetary mill with a custom-made stainless steel (AISI 316) vial. The milling vial was designed to allow it to wirelessly transmit and store pressure and temperature signals (TDWLB-DL3000132 sensor, 200 bar range, 0.25% accuracy, Transducers Direct®, USA). Hydrogen absorption curves for different rotational speeds of the pressure vial - samples were stored and loaded into the vials in air. Hydrogen absorption curves for different rotational speeds of the pressure vial - powder stored and loaded into the vial in a glovebox in high-purity argon. Hydrogen absorption curves obtained in an experiment in which the milling vial was stopped after the reaction was initiated, and the observed pressure drop in the vial was ~10 bar. ·       Hydrogen absorption curves for different types of titanium alloys representing α, α+β, and β types Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) - TGA was performed with a Labsys TGA instrument (Setaram, France) under argon flow. Thermogravimetric curves obtained for the decomposition of powder after synthesis at 500 rpm. Thermogravimetric curves obtained an experiment in which the milling vial was stopped after the reaction was initiated, and the observed pressure drop in the vial was ~10 bar. Thermogravimetric curves obtained for fully hydrogenated samples of Ti Gd-2, Ti Gd5, Ti-5553. The Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) specific surface area (SSA) of the selected samples was measured with a Micromeritics ASAP 2020. Analyzer BET SSA of samples before hydrogenation and after hydrogenation at 500 rpm - Ti Gd-1.
