VPRS 14945 Register of Inward Correspondence

This series was created to register inward correspondence and to keep a record of the movement of correspondence received. Information recorded includes:- Correspondence registration number- Dates (on correspondence, received, responded to)- Name of sender- Summary- How disposed of (whether filed or attached to a later file).In 2003, the original Acts, Bills and other related series created by the Legislative Assembly were transferred to PROV. During the process of this transfer, other records (including this series) were appraised and those deemed permanent were transferred to PROV. Some of the records were estrays, some had clearly at one time been part of the Legislative Assembly's correspondence system and others had been collected for research.
