Spatial memory in Partially non-euclidean Virtual Reality (Dataset)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the raw and processed data collected from a room-scale VR navigation experiment comparing Euclidean vs. partially non-Euclidean labyrinths, each presented with either colored or non-colored walls. For each participant and condition, the dataset includes averaged tracking data, obtained by capturing the head-mounted display trajectory (positions and rotations) and derived performance measures are provided for both the outbound and return paths, including completion time, traveled distance, and the number of wrong turns (identified via trajectory segmentation and reversal detection). The dataset also includes participant-level metadata from a post-experiment questionnaire (e.g., age, gender, VR and videogame experience, and self-rated orientation ability). These data enable replication of the reported analyses and support further research on spatial memory, path integration, and navigation strategies in physically constrained VR environments.
