This repository contains the data products of the publication:Häberle et al. (2025): "oMEGACat. VI. Analysis of the overall kinematics of Omega Centauri in 3D: velocity dispersion, kinematic distance, anisotropy, and energy equipartition"

The data products include:

An IPython notebook containing examples of how to load and plot the data products

Proper motion dispersion profiles (combined, radial, tangential) using different binning schemes

Line-of-sight velocity profiles (rotation, dispersion, position angle)

Kinematic maps

Proper motion dispersion profiles split into 9 mass bins which can be used to reproduce the energy equipartition analysis

A set of photometric, astrometric and spectroscopic quality selections that can be applied to the oMEGACat catalogs to obtain the high-quality sample that we have used for the kinematic analysis.

All data files are provided as .fits tables and as machine-readable (mrt) ASCII files.
