Computational meshes of the cardiac left ventricle

A dataset of left ventricle (LV) anatomies used to study current applications of Simpson's bi-plane rule (SBR), and to develop a new robust standard for LV volume quantification.
The cardiac LV meshes are representative of 3 cohorts:- UKBB: an adult healthy population (61.4 ± 7.5
y.o., n = 4113).- YHC: a young population (26.4 ± 2.1 y.o., n = 225).- HFC: a heart failure population (69 ± 11.2
y.o., n = 50).

Meshes are provided in VTK format for easier compatibility.Meshes within each population have node correspondence.
Meta-data includes the labels for the endo-epicardium layers, as well as the inner and outer rims of the LV base.
