Monthly consumer spending on books in China 2024

An annual survey on book consumption in China discovered that the majority of respondents (57 percent) spent between 51 to 300 yuan on books each month as of April 2024. Compared to the survey results in the previous year, the share of respondents spending over 100 yuan a month on book purchases increased by 5.2 percentage points.
