Fish Catch Data from the Central Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska Sampled by the R/V Kaiyo maru during the Summer and Fall 2003

Salmon and pelagic nekton catch data were collected in the central Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska by the Japanese R/V Kaiyo maru from June to September 2003. A pelagic rope trawl that was towed with the headrope at the surface (0 m; 1 hr at 3.5-5.0 knots) was used to sample 61 stations. Salmon catch data includes chum and sockeye salmon.
