Gut dysbiosis may be implicated in the pathogenesis of IgA nephropathy (IgAN). Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) could re-establish the micro-ecological balance. Therefore, FMT may be efficacious for treating IgAN, which has not been investigated before.
