This study investigates the bacterial community composition and assembly mechanisms in reclaimed soils from mining areas of Jining City, Shandong Province, China. Three typical filling materials (coal gangue, lake sediment, and Yellow River sand) were used for land reclamation. We analyzed the physicochemical properties and 16S rRNA gene sequences to evaluate the impact of filling materials on soil microbial communities. The findings enhance understanding of soil-microbe interactions under human disturbance and provide scientific evidence for optimizing soil restoration strategies.
