The OSL dating data and magnetic susceptibility data of XLX profile were collected in the upper reaches of the Lancang River at geographical coordinates of 96 ° 33 ′ 40.662 ″ E and 32 ° 37 ′ 47.73 ″ N. A total of 25 OSL dating samples and 230 environmental bulk samples were collected for magnetic susceptibility determination. In the OSL era, sample pretreatment was carried out in the Luminescence Chronology Laboratory of the Key Laboratory of Natural Geography and Environmental Processes in Qinghai Province. The single angular regenerative dose protocol (SAR) was used to regenerate coarse particles (63-90 μ m) of quartz, and the equivalent dose (De) was measured using a Ris ø TL/OSL-DA-20-C/D thermal/photoluminescence instrument. 18 samples were measured for each sample and the weighted average De value was calculated. At the Xi'an Geological Survey Center, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (iCAP RQ type) and full spectrum direct reading plasma spectroscopy (iCAP7400 type) were used to obtain the content of uranium, thorium, and potassium. At the same time, the dose rate contribution of cosmic rays was calculated based on the sample's water content, geographic latitude and longitude, altitude, burial depth, etc. Finally, the environmental dose rate of the sample was obtained. The equivalent dose (De) divided by the environmental dose rate gave the burial age of the sample (Age=De/Dose rate). The determination of magnetic susceptibility is carried out using the MS2 magnetic susceptibility measuring instrument produced by the British company Bartington. There are errors in the dataset, and the error of OSL age is presented in the table of the data.
