NRS-16180 | Minutes of the Education Committee [Wallsend District Hospital]

This Minute Book consists of typescript (sometimes stencilled) copies of the Minutes of successive meetings of the Education Committee, pasted into a large-format ruled volume with cardboard covers. It is the master copy, with the Minutes of each meeting signed by the Chairman in confirmation that they had been accepted at the subsequent meeting as a true record. The Committee was composed of senior members of the Nursing Division of the Hospital, and the minutes record discussions and exchanges of information on aspects of education in the Hospital, and any resulting decisions on matters of policy. This volume covers the whole period of the Committee's existence.
