Impact of Fiber-Containing Enteral Nutrition Pilot RCT Sequencing Data

The goal of this study is to assess how a fiber-enriched enteral nutrition (scFOS-EN) versus a fiber-free formula influences gut microbial dynamics in ICU patients with severe trauma. Findings from this study are being developed into a manuscript led by first author Dr. Mara A. Serbanescu, under the mentorship of Dr. Paul E. Wischmeyer, with contributions from Mary C. Wright, Mohamed Elebasy, Pixu Shi, Jason W. Arnold, Krista L. Haines, James R. White, and Neeraj K. Surana.
