AirNow

AirNow is a comprehensive repository of air quality data collected by the U.S. EPA from thousands of monitoring stations across the U.S. and worldwide. It provides real-time and historical data based on the daily Air Quality Index (AQI) readings for key air pollutants in the Clean Air Act and is used by researchers, policymakers, and public health officials to support their initiatives. The data are also available to the public to help raise awareness of air pollution and its related health impacts. By providing accurate and up-to-date data, AirNow empowers individuals to make informed decisions regarding outdoor activities to protect their health. AirNow partners include other federal agencies (e.g., NOAA, NASSA, CDC), U.S. tribal, state, and local agencies, and Canadian and Mexican partners.
