Leading outbound travel markets in the Netherlands 2019-2023, by share of departures

Both in 2019 and 2023, France and Germany were the leading destinations for Dutch tourists based on the share of departures. In 2023, these two countries combined accounted for 31 percent of all outbound trips from the Netherlands. That year, Spain followed in the ranking, representing 12 percent of departures by Dutch travelers.
