资源简介:
Dermal papilla cells play an important role in hair follicle morphogenesis and the postnatal hair growth cycle. DPCs act as a reservoir of pluripotent stem cells, nutrients, excess cytokines and growth factors, regulating the development and growth of hair follicles. Hair follicles undergo cyclical growth, including anagen, catagen, and telogen phases. During the degenerative phase, epithelial cells at the base of the follicle undergo apoptosis, but the DPC remains intact and migrates upward until it is adjacent to the stem cells at the follicle bulge. At the onset of growth phase, DPC activates stem cells in secondary hair follicles, causing new downward growth of the follicle. Therefore, exploring effective chemicals or natural extracts to repair and promote the growth of DPC is of great significance to promote hair growth and treat hair loss. Polyunsaturated fatty acids are important nutrients for human body. The traditional source of polyunsaturated fatty acids is fish oil, but fish can't synthesize polyunsaturated fatty acids by themselves, which is mainly obtained by eating algae. Schizochytrium sp. is known to be a high-quality source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, but the effect of Schizochytrium sp. extracted lipids on hair growth has not been reported. This study will explore the effect of Schizochytrium sp. extracted lipids on dermal papilla cells, and find out which pathways of Schizochytrium sp. extracted lipids affect dermal papilla cells through transcriptome analysis.
