Renewable energy capacity in France 2023, by source

In 2023, the power capacity of renewable sources in France amounted to over 70 gigawatts. Hydropower was the leading renewable source, with almost 26 gigawatts of energy installed. Wind power accounted for around 24 gigawatts of installed capacity, of which the majority in onshore power plants.
