Identification and Functional Interpretation of Deregulated Long Intergenic Non-coding RNAs in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Homo sapiens

In present study, we used both RNA-seq and microarray to analyze the lincRNAs along with protein-coding gene expression in colonoscopic biopsies of human IBD. We evaluated the statistical power and sequencing depth required to discriminate CD and UC. We compared the two high-throughput technology lincRNAs expression profiles and validated the differentially-expressed lincRNAs by qPCR. We developed two strategies for functional interpretation of lincRNAs in individual conditions of IBD.
