Heat-mediated manipulation of gene expression by IR-LEGO in the developing genitalia in DrosophilaIn this study, we employed the infrared laser-evoked gene operator system (IR-LEGO), which utilizes infrared laser irradiation to induce gene expression under the control of a heat shock promoter. We optimized the laser power and focal depth targeting pupal genitalia of Drosophila melanogaster.
