JWST/MIRI WFSS Spectral Atlas of Galaxies at z = 0–4 in the GOODS-N/S Fields (Data Release v1)
收藏资源简介:
Mid-infrared (5–14 µm) slitless spectra of 181 spectroscopically confirmed galaxies at z = 0.08–3.71 in GOODS-N (150) and GOODS-S (31), extracted from archival JWST/MIRI wide-field slitless spectroscopy (P750L prism, FULL array) with the calibration of Sun (2026; paper reference / DOI to be added). The calibration reference files and reduction pipeline are released separately at https://github.com/fengwusun/miri_wfss. Per-source FITS layout Ext Name Content 0 PRIMARY header metadata (field, ID, coordinates, z, F444W, N_exp, t_exp, extraction method, dispersion PA) 1 SCI2D co-added 2D spectrum, 21 × N_λ, mJy per cross-dispersion pixel 2 ERR2D propagated 1σ uncertainty of SCI2D 3 SPEC1D 1D spectrum table: wave_um, flux_mJy, err_mJy, flux_alt_mJy, err_alt_mJy Wavelengths are in micron on a common 0.01-µm grid (SCI2D axis 1 carries a linear wavelength WCS: CRVAL1/CDELT1, CUNIT1 = um). SCI2D axis 2 is the cross-dispersion offset (0.11″ per pixel, ±10 px about the trace; CRPIX2 marks the nominal trace center). In SPEC1D, flux_mJy is the adopted extraction (METHOD in the header: profile-weighted optimal extraction for ~90% of sources, small- aperture boxcar otherwise); flux_alt_mJy is the other method. Fluxes are profile-weighted within a ±1.1″ window and are not total fluxes for extended sources; comparisons with large-aperture photometry require an additional aperture term. Caveats See Section 5 of the paper. In brief: single integrations beyond ~1–2 ks are systematics-limited; the flux response is valid over 4.7–13.81 µm only; and — as for all slitless spectroscopy — source contamination and spectral overlap can affect individual spectra despite the visual vetting, so treat features in the 2D and 1D spectra with caution.
