Plasticity of floral longevity in response to pollination enables plants to maximize opportunity for pollen receipt and export under poor pollination conditions, while minimizing costs under favorable ones, playing a crucial role in plant pollination. This dataset was compiled to explore the relationship between flower longevity plasticity and various moderators.<b>Dataset Overview</b>The R script "1.FLP_effect size and publication bias.r": This script performs the meta-analysis to calculate the overall effect size of FLP and includes diagnostic methods for evaluating publication bias and sensitivity analysis.The R script "2.FLP_moderators analysis.r": This script conducts moderator analyses to explore the impact of potential variables on the FLP effect sizes.The dataset "Appendix_S1_data.csv": This dataset includes data used to calculate effect sizes, along with associated geographic information, continuous explanatory variables (e.g., elevation, flower size, pollen limitation, pollinator dependence, climatic variables), and categorical explanatory variables (e.g., flower number, reward type, sexual synchrony, dichorony type, compatibility status). The data were collected from published literature and analyzed to examine the relationship between flower longevity plasticity and selected biotic and abiotic variables.The dataset "Appendix_S2_variable name.csv": This dataset contains the variable names and descriptions for "Appendix_S1_data.csv".<br>
