Swath sonar multibeam bathymetry during METEOR cruise 51/4 with links to raw data files of bathymetry from the Marmara Sea to the Black Sea

Data acquisition was performed using a ATLAS Hydrosweep DS-2 multibeam sonar system . Raw data are delivered within SAM Electronics SURF format.Raw data can be processed i.e. with the software packages CARIS HIPS/SIPS, Caraibes or with the open source software package MB-System (http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/res/pi/MB-System/).Data are unprocessed and may contain outliers and blunders and should not be used for grid calculations and charting projects without further editing.For further questions contact Paul Wintersteller ([e-mail]).
