The use of infrared radiation observed sea surface temperature. Since October 21, 2008 set sail from Shanghai began to implement the water skin temperature observations, to November 23 "Xue Long" ship entered the sea ice zone end of the skin temperature observations. Infrared radiometer installed on the top deck near the bow, with the ship taking flight observations.
