Satisfaction study with the Child Care Program in the Family Environment

Objective of the study: to know the satisfaction of children and adolescents and their families cared for in the Family Environment Program. The Family Child Care Program is a specialized care service for children in situations of social protection (serious risk or helplessness) and their families when they have little or no motivation to start or continue the process of care in the Child Care Centers and is also responsible for the family care of children in extended families, both for their assessment and for their follow-up after the agreement on a protection measure adopted by the Child Protection Area of the Community of Madrid. It provides interdisciplinary psychological, social and educational care. The services provided in this program are aimed at children and adolescents up to 18 years of age at serious risk or helplessness and their families when they have little or no motivation for change, and extended family care in the districts of: Centro y Arganzuela Ciudad Lineal y Hortaleza Usera The services provided, being a specific programme for the protection of minors, are the same as those set out in the Charter of Services of the CAIs , approved on 5 September 2013: Initial assessment of risk situations in minors. Assessment of the family situation and, where appropriate, of the lack of protection of children and adolescents. Specialized family treatment. Accompaniment and supervision to families who are not in treatment. Support and follow-up for children and their caretakers. Technical advice to professionals and resources working with children and adolescents. Prevention of child abuse.
